Staying Well In A Sick Economy

Blog Entry

January 27, 2009

There has been a lot of talk about the economy. People don't have as much money as they used to so there isn't as much money to spend on staying well. A recent article on the front page of the January 25, 2009 Boston Globe told how having less money is getting people sick. They feel stressed and sad and don't exercise like they should. They also eat less healthy because junk food is sometimes less expensive than healthy food.

But even if people can't afford to belong to a gym, they can walk and exercise at home, and eat more fruits and vegetables. Exercise not only helps control your weight – it also helps to get rid of stress and that's even more important in difficult times.
