Answer When babies are born they have over 300 bones. But as they grow up, some of the bones join together into one larger bone. An example is the skull. The skull bones are not joined together in children so there is room for the brain to grow. Once we stop growing, the total number of bones is 206.

Answer Kids grow up to be like their parents in some ways and different in other ways. If your parents are tall, you are more likely to be tall. If they have blue eyes, you are more likely to have blue eyes, etc. But kids can also be different than their parents both in how they look and how they act. We are more likely to look something like our parents, but we can learn from lots of people, and in that way we can be very different than our parents.
